Brightport Grove

Our story begins with a single brushstroke.

Brightport Grove was founded in 2018 on the misty shores of the Pacific Northwest. We teach mindful makers how to transform reclaimed wood into heirloom pieces using only natural, plant-based finishes.

Our mission

We believe that slow craft restores both object and maker. Every workshop we offer centers on sustainable materials, patient technique, and a deep respect for the living grain of wood.

Through small cohorts and one-on-one mentorship, we pass on skills that last a lifetime while protecting the forests that supply our materials.

"The wood remembers every hand that touches it. We teach you to listen."

— Elias Thorne, Founder
